Healing Through Remembering was invited to participate in the fourth Leonidas Donskis Memorial conference entitled “Difficult Dilemmas : The role of Museums and Public Space in Remembering the Past“.  The event was hosted by the Andrei Sakharov Research Centre for Democratic Development at Vytautas Magnus University in Kaunas, Lithuania and held on 21st September 2021.  HTR Director talked about remembering the past in the public space in the context of difficult histories.

The following day HTR was part of a team of international colleagues who visited the Kaunas Ninth Fort Museum to discuss potential developments on that significant but historically difficult site.
