HTR members update

The Board of HTR recently received notification that HTR’s application for funding for a project (entitled Voyager) for the next three years through Peace III was rejected at the first stage.  HTR has formally requested a review of this decision, and it is understood that the review will be carried out before the end of September.
Whatever the outcome, the review has no impact on HTR’s current programme “Whatever You Say, Say Something” which is funded until 31 December 2011 through the Special European Union Programme Body’s (SEUPB) current Peace III scheme.  HTR also has separate programme funding for the project, “Everyday Objects Transformed by Conflict” which will continue as planned until June 2012.
HTR remains hopeful that the review process for the latest decision of the SEUPB regarding Peace III allocation will be successful as the new application was for an innovative project which continues HTR’s work on dealing with the past.
