Healing Through Remembering would like to welcome Tríona White Hamilton as its Coordinator/Curator for the ‘Everyday Objects Transformed by the Conflict’ Exhibition.
The Everyday Objects Transformed by the Conflict is a follow on to an Audit of Artefacts conducted in 2007/8 involving 79 private and public collections of item relating to the conflict in and about Northern Ireland.
Tríona has been interested in the work of HTR for a few years now and feels that: “interpreting and presenting memories and our heritage are skills I have developed over the last five years in the cultural heritage sector and ones I am keen to use during this project.”
Tríona is from Dunree, County Donegal. She has worked in a variety of collections care, management and interpretation roles in museum and heritage organisations in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. Throughout her career she has worked for Derry Heritage and Museum Service, Old Library in Trinity College, Public Record Office of Northern Ireland, Northern Ireland Museums Council and the Mid Antrim Museum.
