‘We Are Not Afraid’ film & discussion panel held (Belfast Film Festival)
11 April 2011
A discussion panel was held following the screening of ‘We Are Not Afraid’ – a documentary journey in response to the Belfast Sarajevo Project – by Declan Keeney, as part of the Belfast Film Festival (at Queens Film Theatre) on Thursday, 7 April 2011.
Panel members were film makers Declan Keeney, Cahal McLaughlin and Margo Harkin who discuss the use of film in telling stories from conflict, the challenges that arise, and the ethics involved in filming in conflict contexts.
A video of the discussion courtesy of Our Future Together is available below. However, the views expressed are not necessarily those of the Belfast Film Festival and/or Healing Through Remembering.
